Flat lids are primarily used in hot and cold beverage cups, takeout cups, and takeout cups. They effectively prevent spills, insulate, and isolate dust, enhancing the overall beverage packaging experience.

Flat lid forming is a relatively compact structure, requiring high material stiffness and sealing precision. Therefore, a production solution requires a high-precision paper lid forming machine, suitable laminated paper, and mold configuration.

Paper Type: Single- or double-sided PE-coated paper, PLA-coated paper
Paper Weight: 210–300 gsm (adjusted to cup opening size)

Mold Customization and Structural Design

Flat lids are generally available in the following structural styles:

• Standard sealed lids: Suitable for takeout paper cups, emphasizing airtightness and versatility;
• Perforated flat lids: Designed with a straw hole, commonly used for cold drinks or milk tea;
• Spill-proof lids: Features a curled edge or anti-spill ring for a more secure fit.
