MYC-OCM12 Ice Cream Cup Production Solution

Client Background:

This client from Bosnia Herzegovina owns a chain of ice cream shops, specializing in soft-serve ice cream, yogurt ice cream, and cold desserts. As the brand expanded, he discovered that the monthly costs of procuring paper cups from a third party were increasing, and the supply cycle was unstable, often leading to stockouts during peak seasons and printing delays.

In order to ensure a stable supply of the brand and gain greater flexibility in cost and customization, the customer decided to build its own ice cream cup production line to produce ice cream paper cups of different sizes and patterns.

Customer Needs Analysis
Through initial communication, the customer's main requirements included:
1. Required production of two different sizes of ice cream cups
2. Required ice cream cups with different designs for festive occasions
3. Daily production target: 20,000–25,000 finished cups
4. Operational requirements: The machine needed to be easy to learn and maintain, suitable for the initial factory setup team.
Solution:
1.The customer planned to produce two different sizes of ice cream cups. To avoid downtime and commissioning associated with frequent mold changes, we recommended two MYC-OCM12 fully automatic paper cup forming machines, one for each cup size, ensuring greater production efficiency and stability.

2.The client needed to periodically update the design of their ice cream cups based on seasonal events and promotions. To meet this need, we recommended the MY-500X digital printing press. The client only needed to purchase unprinted paper cup scallops, and the digital printing press could quickly create personalized designs, enabling a small-batch, diversified, and highly flexible production model.

Implementation and Delivery Process

Preliminary Project Confirmation:

We provided a factory layout reference based on the customer's existing site area and assisted them in evaluating power and air supply configurations.

Sample Testing:

After placing an order, the customer mailed us printed paper samples. We conducted sample tests at our factory and filmed videos to verify the sealing quality and hem accuracy.

Equipment Delivery and Installation:

Upon arrival of the equipment, the Mingyuan engineering team provided remote video guidance for installation and commissioning, and online operational training. The customer's technicians were able to independently operate the machine in just two days.
