Customer Background

This customer from Lebanon wanted to purchase a machine that directly produces hollow cups (double-layer paper cups).

Customer Needs

During our discussions, we learned that the customer's main requirements were as follows:
They wanted to produce 8oz and 12oz hollow cups.
Since the customer had no prior experience in paper cup manufacturing, they wanted a machine that was as simple to operate and easy to set up as possible.
They planned to expand their operations in the future, so the machine needed to support the addition of molds for other cup shapes.

Solution

The Mingyuan Machinery technical team analyzed and explained the customer's needs.
We explained to the customer that a hollow cup consists of two parts:
Inner cup: Produced by a paper cup machine, it holds the liquid.
Outer cup: Produced by a hollow cup machine and bonded to the inner cup, forming a double-layer structure.
Therefore, one machine cannot directly complete all the processes.
Based on the customer's planned cup types and production volume requirements, we recommended a combined solution of "MYC-OCM100 paper cup machine + MYC-DW100 hollow cup machine".
