Client Background

This client from Tajikistan runs a beverage packaging company, primarily supplying disposable paper cups to local tea brands and chain coffee shops.
With the growth of the takeaway beverage market, he plans to add 8oz and 12oz double-wall cup production lines to his existing paper products business.
Initially, the client only understood the concept of a "double-wall cup" and was unclear about the specific production process.

After detailed communication, we explained that the production of double-wall cups involves two steps:
Step 1: Using a paper cup machine to produce the inner cup (i.e., a single-wall paper cup).

Step 2: Using a hollow cup machine to create the outer cup sleeve and bond it to the inner cup, forming a double-wall structure with an insulating layer.

Client Needs

After further communication, the client raised the following key points:
Speed Matching: He wanted the operating speeds of the paper cup machine and the hollow cup machine to be matched, without a significant difference.
Future Plans: He may expand to produce 12oz hollow cups later, therefore, he wanted the equipment to have mold compatibility.

Solution

Based on the client's requirements, Mingyuan Machinery recommended an inline hollow cup production line solution:
MYC-120 Paper Cup Machine: For producing 8oz inner cups, operating speed 130–150 pcs/min

MYC-DW120 Double-Layer Hollow Cup Machine: For producing outer cup sleeves and automatically attaching them to the inner cups. This model can operate at 100–120 pcs/min.

Automatic Packaging Machine: Completes the automatic stacking and bagging of finished cups, reducing manual operations and improving overall production line efficiency.

This production line adopts an inline design, meaning that after the paper cup machine outputs cups, they are sent to the hollow cup machine through a transfer station to form complete double-layer cups, and then conveyed to the packaging machine for packaging.
